Jason has entered his 20th year in the financial services industry and has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional since 2003. In 2019, he attained the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® designation. He continues to help successful individuals, families, and businesses make informed financial decisions with integrity, loyalty, objectivity, and ethical conduct.
As a CFP® and CPWA® professional, he acts as a primary relationship manager for his clients’ situation by providing them strategic options for each part of the life-cycle of wealth: accumulation, preservation, and distribution.
Jason graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and is a former educator. His past teaching experience helps him simplify the financial planning process for his clientele by implementing sound fundamental strategies.
Over the last several years, Jason has actively served with numerous local economic development boards, non-profit committees, and private/public partnerships. He has been honored with several awards for his impact with several historic rehabilitation projects. Jason has been a member of Young Professionals of Iowa, Financial Planning Association, and Investments & Wealth Institute. He is a graduate from ABI’s Leadership Iowa program (2006-2007).
Jason maintains a love for music and is an avid trumpet player. He currently is the principal trumpet player for the Central Iowa Symphony, Fifth of Brass Quintet, and Ames Municipal Band in Ames, IA. He is passionate about cooking, music, nature, and giving back through volunteerism. Jason resides in central Iowa with his wife, Megan, and their two children.
